The Linter

Description

Named after a local left-hander, and our (very poor) pronunciation of it’s French name, which translates to “the antenna.” Our hand crafted performance shortboard, the Linter, has been tested and perfected in the world class rights of Safi to give you what you need to destroy faces in wally, top-to-bottom waves. A slim, but not anorexic, outline will let you catch the waves you want and still keep you on rail during your surf. Available with either a squash or round tail (or custom order whatever tail you want) depending your shredding preferences. The tight and sharp rails combined with healthy nose and tail rocker with allow you to set your rails into your turns, while the single to double concave will allow you consistent speed and maneuverability in clean to slightly less than clean conditions. Glassed on the lighter side for a focus on performance and sensitivity, we usually stick to a 6oz bottom and 4+4oz deck. However, we are happy to go 6+4oz on the deck for someone who wants a few extra months of life in their board. Conversely, if you are a semi pro and just need to get through a few comps, we can do a light (4oz bottom and 4+4oz deck) glass job for you. Usually, these boards are set up as either thruster or 5-fins, for those who want a bit more versatility, but we are happy to drop in a set of quads.
